This really upset me when I heard about it: J.R. Majewski, who’s running for Congress in Ohio’s 9th District, lied about his military service. 

On the campaign trail, Majewski talked about combat he saw in Afghanistan -- but that’s a lie. He never went to Afghanistan.

As a Navy veteran who served nearly 10 years flying helicopter missions across the Middle East and Europe, I know firsthand the sacrifices our servicemen and women make for our country. They deserve better than someone like Majewski representing them in Congress, and the people of Ohio’s 9th District deserve better.

That’s why today I’m asking you to chip in to my friend Rep. Marcy Kaptur’s campaign.

Marcy represents OH-09 with principle and dignity. I’ve gotten to know her serving together in Congress on the Ukrainian Caucus, and she is a strong voice for freedom around the world. She cares deeply about the people of Ohio and she stands up for what’s right. 

Marcy is the leader Ohioans need and deserve. Her race is going to be tough though and she needs our help. (Her race has been called one of five House contests that could determine the House majority!)
