I’m Katie Porter’s Finance Director, and a big part of my job is planning
out how we strategically spend the money we raise to make sure that Katie
is reelected.

Over these past few weeks, Republicans have dumped even more money than we
anticipated into this race. They’ve purchased millions of dollars worth of
TV ad time and are using deceptive ads to try and win votes in these final
three weeks of the race.

Here’s the truth: Our opponent is an anti-choice friend of Ted Cruz who
would be a rubber stamp for Kevin McCarthy’s extreme agenda. And he’s
being supported by powerful super PACs who can spend millions of dollars
to try and flip this seat.

We’re having to increase the amount of money we’re spending on our own TV
