We have a big job ahead of us in the new year, friend.
2020 is just over the horizon, and Canadians are counting on us to keep building on the progress we’ve been making together since 2015. As we start a new mandate and a new decade, we have an opportunity for bold leadership on priorities like investing in the middle class, growing our economy, keeping Canadians safe and healthy, and protecting a clean environment for future generations.
As we start the next chapter of our progress, we need to keep working to bring people together and ensure that every Canadian has a real and fair chance at success – because shared prosperity lies in openness and inclusivity.
And as the year comes to a close, I’m reflecting on how our Liberal team can best continue to help build a better future for all Canadians, whether that be through new innovative solutions or through what we know works – but it always starts with listening to and standing up for Canadians.
That’s why we need to be ready to grow our movement in every part of Canada, and build on the 21 million knocks and calls that Liberal volunteers made to start new conversations with Canadians on the road to Election Day 2019.
