With just three weeks left until ballots are officially counted, we wanted to take a moment and update you directly about the status of Marisa’s race.

Here’s where things currently stand:

- McCarthy’s leadership is being questioned on both sides of the aisle. Even staunch Republicans doubt his ability to be an effective speaker. Instead of becoming a leader, he’s become a right-wing puppet with political extremists like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Jim Jordan pulling the strings.

- The “Red Wave” is losing steam. More and more voters are realizing the terrifying reality of a GOP-dominated Congress, and recent polling suggests the GOP’s chances of taking back the House are narrower than ever.

- Voters officially have their ballots, which means it’s crunch time here at Wood HQ. We’re ramping up our outreach efforts to make sure voters know there’s a viable candidate who can DEFEAT Kevin McCarthy and become a true advocate for our communities.

Flipping this district blue is our best chance to protect our democracy from falling into the hands of far-right extremists.
