NNU - Medicare for All!

Two days ago, volunteers in thirteen states showed up at dozens of CVS stores to demand CVS Health leadership put patients before profits:

In Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, Vermont, New York, and Pennsylvania, RNs and activists publicly demanded that CVS Health publicly and permanently cut ties with the anti-Medicare for All corporate front group: The Partnership for America’s Health Care Future.

In 2020, CVS donated $5 million to fight Medicare for All as they continued to make obscene profits while millions of people were unable to get the care they need due to costs.

We need your help to spread the word about CVS’s shameful stance and show our support for the volunteers who took action across the country this weekend. Please share the highlights from these actions on social media to tell CVS: Stop gambling with patients’ lives!

When we took action at one of CVS Health’s most iconic stores on the Las Vegas strip a few weeks ago, we gave them an ultimatum: answer our demand by Oct 4th or we’d take action at their stores across the country.

And while it was a victory that CVS responded to us in the press, their statement was wholly inadequate. So thanks to volunteers across the country, we followed through on our promise and showed up loud and clear at their storefronts this weekend. Now, we need your help to amplify our Day of Action on social media.

We’re not letting up the pressure on CVS — stay tuned for more on what comes next soon. In the meantime, please help spread our demand far and wide.

In solidarity,

Nurses’ Campaign to Win Medicare for All
