With a few days left in the year, I wanted to share a quick glance at where things stand with our critical year-end campaign here at the National Women’s Law Center.

I’ll be honest — we’re not quite there yet:

President Trump and his anti-women administration are viciously ramping up their assault on the rights of women, girls, and marginalized communities across America. But with your help, the National Women’s Law Center is escalating its courtroom action to beat back Trump’s onslaught tooth and nail.

And right now, I’m pleased to share that every single dollar sent to support our fights — up to $150,000 — will be matched immediately to have double the impact. [[link removed]]

We’re putting your support to work: taking the administration to court to challenge its regressive policies… fighting sexual harassment and holding institutions and employers accountable… expanding access to high quality, affordable child care … securing access to birth control and reproductive health care … championing laws that protect girls from discrimination at school… and so much more.

Because if our government won't do its job to protect our rights, it's up to us to hold them accountable. That's why we'll always keep fighting — in the courts, in statehouses across the country, and in Washington. And with supporters like you in our corner, I know we will win.

We’ve got our work cut out for us in 2020. But if we have the resources, I know this organization can tackle every obstacle the administration throws our way. As the person responsible for our finances and budget, it’s my job to ensure we have those resources. Which is why I’m writing — we need to reach our goal of raising $150,000 for these fights ahead, but right now, we’re still short on that critical funding.
