Over 40 million people stand to benefit from President Biden’s historic action to cancel up to $20,000 in debt for eligible Pell Grant recipients and up to $10,000 for other eligible borrowers. Nearly 20 million borrowers could have their student debt wiped out entirely — including 1 in 4 Black borrowers.
From being able to buy a home and grow a family to building generational wealth, President Biden’s transformative action will reverberate for generations. Student debt cancellation will change and save lives.
