I'll be at Politics and Prose tonight, 10/17, at 7:00 PM , with Michael Fanone, to discuss his new book Hold the Line: The Insurrection and One Cop's Battle for America's Soul .

Mike self-deployed to the Capitol on January 6th to help defend our democracy from the insurrectionists and ended up being beaten and tased until he had a heart attack. This is Mike's firsthand account of what happened that day, along with exploring our country's most critical issues as someone who has had firsthand experience with many of them.
