Our 2022 Getting it Done Award winner Michalyn Easter-Thomas is a member of the Memphis City Council, District 7, and a fierce advocate for underserved communities.
The I am History Award goes out to Gabriela Santiago-Romero, Detroit City Council, District 6. She is making history as the first openly queer woman on the Memphis City Council and the first Latinx out LGBTQ+ elected in the entire state of Michigan.
