Interview on Fox Across America
Last week, I joined Fox Radio's Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla to discuss rising crime in Wisconsin and around the country. Click to listen to a clip of our conversation below:
Inflation, Recession and Republicans?
Last week, the Consumer Price Index reported inflation for the month of September rose to 8.2%. Remember when President Biden called inflation temporary more than a year ago? Well now he is assuring us not to worry about economic recession.
The true impact of inflation cannot be understated. Not only are folks struggling to afford basic goods, but many may lose their jobs as businesses contend with rising costs. Once inflation starts, it has the tendency to permeate throughout each sector of the economy hurting just about everyone.
To combat inflation we must reign in reckless spending and boost supply of goods. Biden and Democrats in Congress have it backwards. Under a Republican majority, we will curb wasteful spending that is raising the price of groceries, gas, cars and housing. Work to maximize the production of reliable, cleaner, American-made energy, and reduce reliance on foreign countries. And strengthen our supply chains by expanding U.S. manufacturing and end our dependence on China.
