I’ll cut right to it: I’m reaching out to ask you to contribute to Dr. Asif Mahmood’s campaign for Congress in California’s 40th Congressional District.

We’re about three weeks from Election Day. Once again, California will play a major role in our effort to keep the House blue. It’s going to take winning important races like CA-40 to keep the gavel out of Kevin McCarthy’s hands.

Dr. Asif Mahmood’s race in the 40th District is one of a few opportunities in the country where Democrats can flip a red seat back to blue.

After redistricting, the GOP thought CA-40 would be an easy win for them, but McCarthy had to spend nearly $1 million during the primary election to stay afloat here – and he’s spent an unprecedented sum attacking Dr. Mahmood ever since.
