Hi there — I’m proud to support my good friend Rep. Kathy Manning in her race for North Carolina’s 6th Congressional District. Before I ask you to support Kathy’s re-election campaign, please let me share why I’m standing with her.

In Congress, Kathy has been a strong advocate for many issues that make a difference in the lives of North Carolinians, including increased access to early childhood education and career technical education. She is also a champion of efforts to lower the cost of health care. 

And Kathy also serves on the high-powered Foreign Affairs Committee, where she is a loud voice for democracy.

During her first term, she’s already taken critical action on issues like gun violence prevention, reproductive rights, climate change, and more. I know without a doubt that she’s the right choice to keep our communities moving forward. 

But the road ahead won’t be easy. 

I’m no stranger to tough election fights against a Republican Party caving more and more to the far-right extremists in its caucus. And looking at the state of this race, it’s clear Kathy needs our help.

Right-wing groups are already promoting attack ads in major media markets across the state in order to flip Democratic House seats like Kathy’s, and dark money organizations are sparing no expense to echo their message.
