John,

Mitzvot is a core element of my faith, and has been since I was a student in Hebrew school. It means “commandments” or “righteous deeds,” and it's more than just an idea – it's an action I try to fulfill each and every day.

That principle spurred me to join the Navy at 17, though it wasn't exactly a typical career path for girls at my temple. But I felt compelled to do something great for my country.

It’s why I decided to make my first-ever run for public office back in 2018, when absolutely no one expected me to win.

And after our democracy was attacked, I was compelled to do everything in my power to demand justice and ensure that it never happened again. It brought huge political risk, but mitzvot isn’t about doing what’s easy. It’s about doing what’s right.

That’s exactly why I’m facing the toughest election battle of my career. I’m being attacked with every resource that the far right can muster: $4 million and counting.

I’m relying on help from folks like you so I can continue fighting for our democracy in Washington. Just a little gelt goes a long way in this dead-heat battleground race – so please, will you contribute $25 or more today?
