Hey John, Jarae here. I’m the Organizing Director for Team Underwood. I wish I were reaching out with better news today, but unfortunately, I have a frustrating update to share. Someone vandalized one of our yard signs:
This isn’t the first time this has happened, and it might not be the last, John. The fact of the matter is, not everyone is respectful. Just like the Republicans in Congress who take money from dark money groups and politicize issues that should be left to professionals like reproductive health care, the far-right is willing to do anything it takes to win — even stooping as low as destroying our yard signs. But we can’t let them halt our momentum. These yard signs are playing a key role in our community outreach efforts, and we depend on grassroots support to get them posted around the district. That’s why I’m emailing today. The demand for yard signs is already incredibly high across this district — and with stories like this one, we need to make sure we have even more resources than we originally expected. So John, can you chip in $10 today to help our campaign recoup the cost of any lost or vandalized signs and get even more yard signs out to folks before Election Day?
