The NRA is still suing us in federal court, and it's a serious threat to the future of I-1639.

Last year, we fought harder than ever to pass I-1639, but gun sellers across the state are still promoting widespread access to semi-automatic rifles and other weapons of war - and some sheriffs are cherry-picking which parts of the policy to enforce. What we're seeing on the ground is a full-scale campaign by the gun lobby to undermine I-1639.

An overwhelming majority of voters chose to keep our children and our communities safe from the threat of semi-automatic rifles, and the Alliance refuses to back down and let the NRA obstruct our efforts. That's why we're in court defending I-1639 against their attacks.

We're doing everything we can to protect this lifesaving law and ensure that it's fully implemented, but we can't do it alone: Will you give $5 before midnight tonight to help fight back against these obstructionist attacks on I-1639?

Lawsuits like this one against I-1639 are the NRA's go-to method to stop any and all progress on gun safety. If they win this court battle, it could be the end of I-1639. They've tried using the courts every step of our campaign, and we can't let them succeed now.

The Alliance is doubling down to take on the gun lobby's obstruction and fight for this lifesaving gun safety policy, but we're counting on our supporters to be with us every step of the way. We don't have any time to waste, John: Rush $5 immediately to protect I-1639 from the gun lobby's obstruction and save lives from gun violence!
