Last Friday night was the last of two debates between Mike and his far-right opponent Brian Maryott.

Mike was the clear winner in both rounds. He absolutely dominated.

Mike separated himself by laying out the very real progress he's made through bills he's passed and federal investments he's secured. Maryott separated himself as a complete extremist with no real vision.

Here are some highlights from the debates:

On reproductive rights, Maryott expressed disdain for the women who "got used to" the right to reproductive autonomy. Apparently he was surprised that women were so upset saying it was, "remarkable to see the reaction in the country." Talk about out of touch!

Maryott tried attacking Mike with the same tired GOP talking points about border security. His only problem? Mike has a strong record of voting for border security investments and cracking down on fentanyl smuggling. Brian on the other hand was forced to admit he'd never even been to the border!

If you can believe it, things got worse when Maryott came out against... public schools? "We are long past the time, where in 2022, we are still sending kids to a government-run school."
