Our CTUP study showing a $34,000 hit to the average 401k plans due to Bidenflation and the bearish stock market landed us on the front page of the New York Post this morning.
Combine this with the $4,000 average decline in wages and Lunch Bucket Joe is clobbering middle-class families’ incomes and lifetime savings.

2) No Matter How You Define It: Biden Is The Inflation King
Once again the White House put out a statement on Friday that they are “doing all we can to reduce inflation.” Actually, we are starting to believe them. This administration is so economically incompetent that they are doing all THEY can to bring inflation down.
The chart below shows that every which way you can define inflation the numbers are all moving in the wrong direction.
The Democrats are even running out of credible excuses. The other day in a Senate debate in Georgia challenger Herschel Walker hit incumbent Raphael Warnock relentlessly on inflation and all the trillions of dollars of Biden spending bills that Warnock had voted for. Warnock’s feeble reply was “look how we are bringing down insulin costs.” If this is the best line they’ve got, Democrats are in big trouble in November.
3) 200-Million Chinese Subject To China’s “COVID Hell” Lockdowns
President Xi Jinping of China is now touting the communist/Maoist economic model in Beijing as a model for the world. That’s a frightening thought as Xi is a dictator with zero concern about liberty or human rights or free enterprise.
At this past weekend’s Communist Party conference, Xi doubled down on his “Zero Covid” fantasy. He insists this iron fist approach is necessary to save lives. He also boasted the policy has added to China’s influence on the international stage. He must be getting advice from Anthony Fauci.
In reality, the policy has failed on all levels, including the slowing of outbreaks. Despite the testing of every citizen several times a week, nearly two hundred million people (one out of seven people) are in lockdown in China. Health workers have resorted to barricading buildings, trapping truckers on highways, and halting supply chains.
At least some courageous Chinese citizens are starting to rebel. On Thursday, this banner was unfurled on the Sitong Bridge in Beijing. It is translated as follows:
"We want food, not PCR tests. We want freedom, not lockdowns. We want respect, not lies. We want reform, not a Cultural Revolution. We want a vote, not a leader. We want to be citizens, not slaves."
We hope Americans are paying attention to the total failure of the full-lockdown scheme. It is imposing grave misery on its citizens. What is frightening is that here in the U.S. there are still many Democratic governors to this day who defend lockdowns and want to reimpose them the next time we have another virus.
4) NYT Openly Cheers For Ron Johnson's Democratic Opponent
We did a double and then a triple take when we saw this New York Times preview of the debate in Wisconsin between the two Senate candidates.
Can the New York Times just PLEASE stop pretending that it is politically neutral and admit it is now nothing more than a shameless mouthpiece for the Democratic Party?
Because the mobs in Seattle she once cheered on have turned against even her. It turns out someone (and we doubt it was a conservative) has been pelting Councilwoman Kshama Sawant’s house with feces.
