John,
How will these swamp monsters fair when stacked up against some of America’s scariest billionaires?
All month, we’re bringing you Halloween infographics, shining a spotlight on billionaires buying our elections. This week, we’re highlighting billionaires Richard and Elizabeth Uihlein.
This swampy couple has bankrolled right-wing candidates and causes to the tune of $194 million, including giving $26.5 million this election cycle to the anti-tax group Club for Growth Action.[1]
Help us bring our latest infographic to thousands of people to tell voters about this billionaire couple that is using their untaxed fortune to buy our democracy. Chip in today!
Swamp monsters prefer to operate in the gloom and muck, not out in the open. That’s why, together, we’re telling voters exactly who is bankrolling candidates and causes that put billionaire wealth ahead of the needs of working families.
Thank you for being with us in this fight,

John,
All month, our Halloween infographics are highlighting some of the scariest billionaires in America.
Next up, meet “the most powerful conservative couple you’ve never heard of”―billionaires Richard and Elizabeth Uihlein of Illinois.[1]
Co-founders of Uline, a Wisconsin based industrial supply company—the Uihleins received a $43.5 million tax cut in 2018 from a loophole slipped into the Trump Tax Scam by Senator Ron Johnson.[2]
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) is an election denier and science denier who’s arguably the worst senator in Congress.[3] He secured this special loophole after Uihlein and Diane Hendricks, a fellow billionaire donor, together contributed about $20 million to organizations supporting Johnson’s 2016 reelection campaign.
And that giant tax cut keeps giving every year, but this swampy couple is far from satisfied.
The Uihleins have contributed $194 million to GOP candidates and causes over the years―including a whopping $26.5 million to the anti-tax, right-wing Club for Growth Action this election cycle alone.[4] Their “modest” investment in electing right-wing, anti-tax Republicans is definitely paying off.
Help us shine a spotlight on swamp monsters Richard and Elizabeth Uihlein by bringing our latest Halloween infographic to thousands of voters. Chip in today!
This right-wing couple fills their company’s catalogs with thinly veiled leading questions like, “Is America in decline? Is China taking over? Are we spending too much on welfare programs?”[5] And their donations are funding campaigns to abolish the Affordable Care Act and undermine funding for public education.
Pitch in today to shine a spotlight on these swamp monsters who are using their untaxed fortune to bankroll right-wing causes and candidates.

Together, we’re fighting back against billionaires buying our elections and rigging our economy.
