Politicians like Schmitt, who voters elected and trusted to faithfully serve them, have spent the last two years spreading baseless conspiracy theories.

As Attorney General, Eric Schmitt waged a legal war to overturn the results of the 2020 elections. He filed multiple lawsuits in a desperate bid to help Trump remain in power – including a last ditch effort led by MAGA extremists to invalidate the election results in critical battleground states. Their schemes to meddle in other states' elections failed when even Trump's ultra-conservative Supreme Court justices rejected their baseless argument.

But even though Eric Schmitt's lawsuits failed, he continues to pose a threat to our democratic values! Our democracy will never be safe when leaders like Schmitt choose their partisan allies, their desire for power, and their political ambitions over our democracy and the families they have sworn to represent.

To save our democracy and restore integrity to Washington, we need leaders who are beholden only to our Constitution and their constituents; not their mob bosses. We need leaders like Democrat Trudy Busch Valentine.
