The 2023 Summit for Religious Freedom is not your average conference.
SRF is the hub for our collective fight for religious freedom, church-state separation and the issues that depend on them like LGBTQ+ equality, reproductive rights, protecting public schools and more. It’s a big tent – we’re welcoming everyone from longtime advocates to those just discovering the issue and its critical role in protecting our democracy, our equality and our rights.

To protect our fundamental values of freedom and equality, Americans United is collaborating with our allies to defeat the biggest threats we face – including Christian nationalists, right-wing radicals and their political allies who’ve launched a coordinated campaign to force us to all live by their narrow, regressive religious beliefs.
SRF is Collaborative. We’re inviting many organizations to partner with us.
SRF is Concurrent. Participants can attend in Washington, D.C., for the full program or virtually for a curated selection of activities as part of our efforts to make the event accessible to all.
