Chamber Supports Proposed Through-Running MARC Train Service to Virginia 


The Arlington Chamber supports the proposed collaboration between the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority (VPRA) and the Maryland Transportation Authority to bring through-running MARC train service from Maryland to Northern Virginia. This service would dramatically increase the number of workers who could commute to Arlington within 60 minutes.

Chamber Supports Zoning Amendments Regarding Micro-Fulfillment


The Chamber commends the County Board for actions at their October 15 meeting to support the broader Commercial Market Resiliency Initiative. The Board adopted amendments that will enable Arlington to permit micro-fulfillment centers, and advertised additional amendments regarding colleges and universities, urban agriculture, dog boarding, breweries, and distilleries.
