We’ve sent a number of fundraising emails lately with time running out before Election Day. Our hope was that you would take these messages as a sign of just how important this moment is to our campaign.

Unfortunately, we still have some ground to make up toward our fundraising goals before the final FEC deadline of the election on Wednesday. And with early voting starting next week in Wisconsin, we really can't come up short of our goals.

These goals are not arbitrary — not at all.

They are what it takes to reach the voters we need to persuade, to turn out, and to win.

Hitting these goals – or not – will be the difference between flipping this seat or having another six years of Ron Johnson in the Senate.

So we need lots and lots of donations before midnight. It must start with you. So please:

Can Mandela count on you to make a contribution to his campaign before Wednesday's FEC deadline? We mean it when we say that control of the Senate is on the line.
