Friend,

I’ll get right to the point.

We’re still very much behind our July online fundraising goal — and we’re hoping you can help us close the gap.

If you and 48 others from your state chip in, we’ll be on track to raise the funds we need to advance our campaigns for democracy and justice.

Please donate whatever you can afford right now, or even consider making a monthly contribution.

Your support makes all the difference,

Robert

Friend,

In a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to power our vital work.

First, let me explain why.

In just the past few weeks, we’ve squared off against Facebook, private insurers, Big Pharma, Big Ag, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and President Donald Trump.

But here’s one thing we have not yet done: Hit our July online fundraising goal.

In fact, we’re not close.

Maybe it’s the heat, or exasperation with the outrages of the Trump presidency, or because people are inundated with donation requests from presidential candidates.

Whatever the reason, we need Public Citizen supporters to step up right now.

Can you chip in right now to support our advocacy for democracy and justice?

Contribute now.

Along with our everyday fights to curb corporate power and expose the conflicts and abuses of the Trump administration, we’re investing huge resources in transformative campaigns to:

  • Slash prescription drug prices.
  • Overturn Citizens United with a constitutional amendment.
  • Pass into law public financing of elections and the most far-reaching pro-democracy legislation since the Voting Rights Act.
  • Win Medicare for All and make health care a right.
  • Replace NAFTA to stop its ongoing damage to consumers, workers and the planet.
  • Win a Green New Deal to avert the impending climate catastrophe.
  • Reduce and reallocate Pentagon spending to fund health care, education and other human needs.
  • Curb monopoly power and rein in corporate crime and wrongdoing.

Yes, we are actually doing all of those things.

And we aim to win.

We’re as frugal as it gets, but campaigning at this scale takes real resources.

Can you pitch in right now to fuel our campaigns?

Anything you give will advance our transformative work for a better, more equitable America.

Thanks for all you do,

Robert Weissman
