Leora Levy Heading Toward Victory as CT Senate Race Tightens
Real Clear Politics Shifts Race to ‘Lean Dem’ & The Hill Points to Leora’s Growing Lead with Independent Voters
GREENWICH, CT – In case you missed it, a new poll released over the weekend by the CT Examiner shows Leora Levy within striking distance of career politician Dick Blumenthal. Leora Levy is within five points of Blumenthal - 49% to 44% with 7% undecided, and continues to lead with Independents, the largest voting bloc in Connecticut. The Hill notes of Levy’s growing favorability with Independent voters that, “among registered Independent voters, 54 percent of respondents said they’ll cast their vote for Levy, while 37 percent of those surveyed said they’ll vote for Blumenthal.”
This poll reflects a growing shift heading toward Election Day, as Connecticut voters reject Biden and Blumenthal’s disastrous economic policies. Reflecting Blumenthal’s plunging favorability among voters, Real Clear Politics has shifted the Connecticut Senate race from ‘Likely Dem’ to ‘Lean Dem.’
Leora Levy issued a statement on her campaign’s significant momentum in the weeks leading up to Election Day on November 8th.
