Kia ora John, This Wednesday I’m catching up with former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard for a special virtual event. I’d love for you to join us, John. Julia and I will be on Zoom on Wednesday, 19th October, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. We’ll be chatting about current affairs, leadership and answering some of your questions as well! I’ve admired Julia for many years. I vividly remember when she visited New Zealand and spoke on the floor of our parliament. The next year she delivered her now famous misogyny speech at a time when a rallying cry for women in politics was so timely. Julia’s speech resonated with me and so many others. Ten years on, I can’t wait to hear her reflections on this and lots of other topics too. I hope you can join us, John. It’s going to be a great evening.
