On Monday, we announced a new ad featuring First Lady Casey DeSantis. In the ad, the First Lady shares her behind-the-scenes story of the Governor’s unwavering support through her battle with cancer.
“He was the dad who took care of my children when I couldn’t. He was there to pick me off of the ground when I literally could not stand. He was there to fight for me when I didn’t have the strength to fight for myself.”

Governor DeSantis hit the road this weekend crisscrossing the state of Florida to rally support for his Freedom Agenda and for another four years of Keeping Florida Free. He had massive crowds come out to see him in Hillsborough County, The Villages, Broward County — and even at Biketoberfest in Daytona Beach.
On Saturday, Governor DeSantis spoke to a crowd of hometown heroes, including health-care providers, law enforcement officers, fire fighters, emergency medical service professionals, and veterans, where he also earned an endorsement from the National Coalition of Frontline Workers.
“Thanks to our frontline workers, Florida’s communities are ranked among the safest in the nation... Frontline workers represent the best of Florida’s spirit. Following Hurricane Ian, they have tirelessly worked to save lives, restore communities, and get our state back on its feet. Florida has their back, and I am grateful for their support.” — Governor Ron DeSantis
The First Family attended a football game last weekend between Naples High School and Barron Collier High School – two schools and communities hit hard by Hurricane Ian.
“Despite everything Hurricane Ian threw our way, Floridians have come together to rally and support each other. The football game between Naples High School and Barron Collier High School shows that SWFL is determined to bounce back. Thanks for the great efforts!” — Governor Ron DeSantis
