Last week, Matt attended the Women’s Wave Rally in Glens Falls, where he spoke in support of a woman’s right to choose, then attended Oktoberfest with Assemblyman Santabarbara in Amsterdam where he met with first responders. On Sunday Team Castelli knocked doors in St. Lawrence county before a candidate meet and greet at the new SLC Dems office in Potsdam.

Earlier this week Matt marched in solidarity with the Amazon Labor Union and labor leaders across the region in support of the ALB 1 Amazon Schodack workers, who are fighting for better wages and working conditions. He also toured the Ogdensburg Bridge and Port Authority, meeting with members of the Board and staff to learn about their inspiring new plans for growth that will benefit NY21. Matt also attended the NYSUT retirees luncheon in Lowville on Wednesday.

Team Castelli Town Halls are continuing. This past week Matt held Town Halls in Hamilton, Lewis, and Jefferson counties, where he answered questions from members of the community. In the coming weeks, Matt will be holding town halls in Warren, Rensselaer, and Clinton counties (keep an eye out on our Facebook for more details!), in keeping with his pledge to meet with voters in all 15 counties in our district. Missed a town hall in your area? Representative Elise Stefanik, a New York Republican, was criticized on Friday after she touted federal funding for hospitals in her state that came from legislation that she opposed last year.

"Elise Stefanik trying to take credit for money she voted against comes as no surprise to #NY21. Scammers gonna scam," wrote Matt Castelli, a Democratic candidate challenging Stefanik this November in the midterm elections.
