Hi John,

Earlier today, my team let you know about the crucial deadline we have coming up on Wednesday. So today, I just wanted to reach out with a personal note about the days ahead.

Let me start off by saying how grateful I am for all that you have done to power this team since the day I launched my candidacy. I’m incredibly proud to be running a grassroots campaign, and supporters like you have made all that we’ve accomplished possible.

By now you know that we’ve faced some steep levels of special interest and dark money spending in this race. But let me tell you – even though we’re now just over three weeks away from Election Day, we’re not in the clear just yet.

After Wednesday’s deadline, our numbers will be made public for one of the last times before Election Day. The stakes are high, because we can be certain that if we don’t put up a strong performance, some of those same groups will seize their one last chance to defeat us by spending even more cash against us.

So today, I would be incredibly grateful if you could help my team put up a strong performance by chipping in any amount if you’re able to. We’ve come so far to get where we are, and we can’t afford to take our foot off the gas now.
