This past week, I attended a candidate forum hosted by Williston Central School and was honored by the 7th and 8th grade students who showed their support for our campaign.

Since the very beginning, young people – particularly my own children, Sarah and Abe, along with the hundreds of students I’ve taught over the course of my career as an educator – have been one of the key motivators behind my decision to run for public office.

From protecting our planet, to preserving our democracy, to defending the hard-fought progress we’ve made on civil rights, the world we leave for future generations will depend on the action our leaders take today to make it a better place.

I am hopeful that real change is possible – and I will bring that optimism for the future with me to fight on behalf of all Vermonters in Congress. So if you are able, help send me to Congress this November by contributing $5 or more to our campaign today. With just a few weeks to go, your support can really make a difference. [[link removed]]

Becca believes the best thoughts are not always from the loudest voices in the room. As President Pro Tem of the Vermont State Senate, she's led the charge to invest in affordable housing, fight climate change, enshrine reproductive freedom into our state's constitution, and so much more. Now, she's running for Congress to have a greater impact on more Vermonters. If you'd like to receive fewer emails and only see our most important updates, click here.
