Subject: Update: things that bring us together

Friend,

Last week, we asked people to join us in sharing the traditions and recipes that bring their families together this time of year. The answers we received reflect the vast, diverse communities which make up our country. I want to share a few with you in the hope they’ll brighten your day as much as they did mine.

Check out some of the wide-ranging recipes and traditions our community creates and celebrates this time of year→

Janie and her loved ones use this time for personal reflection:
"We celebrate winter solstice, with close friends and family, sharing winter poems, songs, and stories around an outdoor fire pit. We set personal intentions around what we want to release and what we want to bring into our lives."

Rafaela celebrates by preparing an incredible meal:
“Baked pernil, rice with guandules, leaf cakes, potato salad, green salad, some candy, chocolate, and a vanilla cake dessert.”

No matter how you celebrate, we can all come together by sharing what makes us each unique. Make sure you check out the other submissions today.

Learn more now about the ways we all come together through our unique traditions over the holidays.

As we say goodbye to 2019 and usher in the new year, there’s no better time to take a moment to stop, reflect, and gather around the table with the people we love. I’m so proud to be a member of a community with you and celebrate these moments of unity.

Thank you for celebrating with us,

Jen Martin
