Dear friends,

The past year has been nothing short of a whirlwind, and I wanted to touch base personally before we ring in the new year.

Together, we've made progress on some of the most important issues facing Americans. From launching the first bipartisan Senate Climate Solutions Caucus to providing critical funding to Delaware State University and other Historically Black Colleges and Universities and defending our democracy from foreign interference, this year has been filled with many legislative accomplishments.

But we've also seen Mitch McConnell continually block us from enacting greater progress. Instead of honest debate, we've seen scare tactics and obstruction, robbing us of our opportunity of delivering the change so many Americans want.

I don't know about you, but I want to make sure that this time next year, we'll have flipped the Senate, expanded our House majority, and taken back the White House. With less than a year to prepare, we're going to need all hands on deck to ensure we have the resources to make this a reality.

In just a few days, we face our very last and most important fundraising deadline of 2019. The contributions you make today will support my re-election and my work to flip the Senate blue. Will you pitch in $5 or whatever you can to help us hit our $10,000 end-of-year fundraising goal?

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and a joyous new year. Thanks for all you do, and for continuing to stand with me.

With gratitude,

Chris
