John,

I’ve always seen serving New Hampshire – first as a state Senator, then as governor, and now in the U.S. Senate – as the honor of a lifetime. Now I’m running for reelection to defeat the most extreme nominee for U.S. Senate that New Hampshire has seen in decades and protect the razor-thin Democratic majority hinging on this seat.

With just days until our final mid-month goal of the 2022 cycle, I need your support, John, because there is so much left to do.

Over the last six years, I’ve had the privilege to work to deliver on the issues that matter most to Granite Staters, and that’s entirely thanks to the 1,017 votes I won this seat by.

Yep, just 1,017 votes – the slimmest victory of any sitting Senator, and what political organizers call a “field margin” – those final few percentage points that a strong ground game can yield.

In a battleground state like New Hampshire, where a few percentage points can determine the outcome of an election, it’s not uncommon to win by a “field margin.” But it is just further proof that we can’t take anything for granted.

In 2016 every door we knocked, every phone call we made, and every ad we ran helped us flip this seat. The same thing will be true as we fight to keep this seat in just under 4 weeks. But this time around, there will be one major difference: we won’t have the benefit of increased voter turnout that comes with a presidential election.

In presidential elections, more voters turn out, and in 2016, that boost helped me get across the finish line. If we hope to lock in that “field margin” that could tip this race – and with it, the balance of the U.S. Senate – we are going to need people like you to step up.

We are more than halfway through the *final* full month of this race, and your support is more important than ever, especially as we approach our crucial mid-month fundraising deadline which will determine how we budget out the rest of this race.

Being up on the airwaves and out in the field takes resources, and with just 23 days until the election, we need to be constantly ramping up our efforts.

So please, chip in what you can, John. No amount is too small to make a difference in a race this close.

With every good wish,
Maggie Hassan
