It’s the start of a new week, folks. On this end that means piles of laundry, playing with the kids, trying to follow NFL games. And right now, it also means knocking doors to turn out the vote, which I’m heading out to do in a few minutes.

Early voting starts on Thursday, and with Election Day only 23 days away, we don’t have time for anything but focusing our energy on flipping NC-11 blue. Will you rush $25 today to help me defeat my GOP opponent on November 8th?

My GOP opponent Chuck Edwards would be (yet another) disaster if elected to represent NC-11. He:

 Supports a nationwide abortion ban without exceptions for rape, incest, or health of the mother.

 Helped pass “Don’t Say Gay” legislation through the NC Senate and confirmed he would vote against federally protecting the right to marry who you love.

 Refuses to call January 6th what it really was – an insurrection.

Edwards is an out-of-touch multi-millionaire who doesn’t represent Western North Carolina’s values. I’m going to defeat him in three weeks, but not without your support.

We’re coming down to the final stretch of this race, and we’re approaching the last pre-election FEC deadline on Wednesday at midnight. Help us meet our $40,000 goal by chipping in $25 or more today.
