John — Trump-backed election deniers are running all over the country for the key offices that will oversee the 2024 presidential election — and in pivotal battleground states like Arizona, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, people have already started voting.
But the mainstream media is almost entirely ignoring these down-ballot races, so people might not have any idea what's at stake when they vote unless we sound the alarm.
Will you make a donation to Inequality Media Civic Action to get the truth out and help stop the Trump-backed election deniers running to take over our elections?

Dear John,
Early voting has already begun in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota, three crucial presidential battleground states where Trump-backed election deniers are running for the key offices that will oversee the 2024 election.
Then, over the next two weeks, voting will begin in Arizona, Indiana, Nevada, New Mexico, and Ohio, five more states with election deniers running for secretary of state.
Together, these states represent 97 electoral votes where Big Lie conspiracy theorists could be in charge of counting votes and certifying the results in 2024.
It’s a slow-motion coup happening right under our noses — but the mainstream media is giving so little coverage to these races that many voters won’t know who these candidates are when they vote, unless we can sound the alarm.
That’s why Inequality Media Civic Action has launched the biggest midterm election GOTV campaign in our history. But time is running out, and we still need to raise more money to reach the number of people we need to reach before it’s too late.
Will you make a donation to get the truth out and help stop Trump and his Big Lie conspiracy theorists from taking control of our elections?
Let me tell you about the candidates running to take over our elections:
- Arizona secretary of state candidate Mark Finchem is a member of the extremist Oath Keepers militia and was seen outside the U.S. Capitol on January 6. As a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, he introduced a resolution to decertify the 2020 election and sponsored legislation to allow the Republican-led Legislature to overturn election results.
- In Nevada, secretary of state candidate Jim Marchant said he would not have certified the 2020 presidential election and claims that no one has been legitimately elected in the state of Nevada for decades due to elections rigged a “deep state cabal” scheming to establish "a socialist, communist, tyrannical government."
- Michigan’s GOP secretary of state nominee Kristina Karamo falsely claimed that she witnessed fraud as a poll challenger during the 2020 election and signed onto a lawsuit aimed at overturning Biden’s victory.
- In Pennsylvania, where the governor appoints the secretary of state, Republican gubernatorial nominee Doug Mastriano introduced legislation in the state legislature to overturn the election, funded buses to take people to the January 6 insurrection, and was seen crossing police barricades at the Capitol that day.
These are the people who will be responsible for counting votes and certifying who wins in 2024, unless we can stop them.
That’s why, between now and November, we are using all our social media platforms to sound the alarm to alert voters about the election deniers on the ballot, and the importance of down-ballot races, so they get out and vote all the way down the ticket.
Time is running short and we’re counting on donations from supporters like you to get the message out. Will you make a donation to Inequality Media Civic Action and help stop Trump’s Big Lie candidates from taking over our elections?
Thank you for joining the fight to save our democracy,
Robert Reich
