[ [link removed] ]Welch for Vermont

There’s just 23 days left until Election Day, and we’ve been hard at work ensuring
Peter’s elected as Vermont’s next senator these past few weeks—come see
what’s been happening on the campaign trail:

A couple Fridays ago, Sen. Amy Klobuchar joined Peter and the Vermont
Democratic Party for a reproductive freedom roundtable, where they
discussed the current state of reproductive rights in Vermont and around
the country, Vermont’s Reproductive Liberty Amendment (Article 22 on
November’s ballot), and what Congress can do to protect reproductive
freedom for every American regardless of their zip code.

The event underscored the importance of electing Peter and protecting the
Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate—if he’s elected, these two can
continue fighting to protect reproductive freedom on all our behalf.

The Welch Wagon 14 County Tour keeps rolling along, making our most recent
stops in Caledonia County on October 8 and Windham County on October 12.
While in Caledonia, Peter made community visits to the St. Johnsbury Fire
Department and the Miss Lyndonville Diner, bookended by rallies with the
Northeast Kingdom Democrats.

And in Windham, Peter made stops at Rebop Farm and the Brattleboro Fire
Department before paying community business visits to local shops like
Vegan AF and Hermit Thrush Brewery.

After last Wednesday’s trip to Windham, we’re officially four stops into
the Welch Wagon Tour with another 10 to go before Election Day on November
8—stay tuned for details on where Peter’s heading next!

With
just over three weeks until the midterms, there’s not a moment to spare if
we’re going to win this election for Peter. The Senate’s currently split
down the middle 50/50, and experts are still saying control of the chamber
could go to either party. We can’t take a chance of losing this seat and
letting Mitch McConnell and the GOP put an end to everything we’re
fighting for.

We promise you’ll continue to be among the first to know everything taking
place in the homestretch of this race. And keep your eyes and ears open
for the Welch Wagon—it’ll be in your county before you know it.

Thanks so much!

Team Welch
