Happy Holidays!
We hope all is well with you and your family. We’re reaching out to make sure you know about our rally on Monday, Jan. 13. We’re taking the fight for our students straight to Florida’s lawmakers. We will meet in Tallahassee at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center at 1:30 p.m., then march to the Old Capitol to rally on the Legislature’s doorstep.

Why do you need to be there on Jan. 13? You need to be there because we are fighting for the future of Florida. This state’s students deserve better than what legislators have seen fit to provide. All students deserve:
The opportunity for a high-quality education in a well-resourced public school, regardless of their ZIP code
More time for learning and less time spent on testing
More funding for mental health services
A qualified and diverse educator workforce
Affordable college
If these are things you want for Florida’s students, be there on Jan. 13!
This is a part of our larger Fund Our Future campaign, which has focused on student success, investments in public schools, and retaining and recruiting our best educators.
