When I decided to run for Congress in 2017, I wasn’t sure what the future would hold.

I knew that I had a calling for public service, and I knew that I wanted to serve my community in the place I called home. What I didn’t know was if I had what it took to win.

But then I started organizing and receiving donations. It was like the snowball effect – slow at first, and then it got bigger and bigger. People weren’t just believing in my vision or my experience, they were believing in me.

I took a risk running for office, and I’m proud to say it paid off.

But now, we’re just a few short weeks from Election Day, and we’re $5,120 behind on our daily fundraising goal. If we don’t close this gap – and quick! – my team will be forced to slash budgets across the campaign. In a race this important, we can’t let that happen.
