John, at the core of my campaign is a fundamental belief that when we join together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of our neighbors. We should not settle for simply trying to restore our economy; rather we should strive to make it even better: more accessible, equitable, and prosperous for every American.
Here’s one way we talk about these issues in our first ad of the cycle, "Dreams."
|
While I was serving in the Air Force, I had my first child, Molly. I only got six weeks of maternity leave, and there was a six-month waiting list for child care on the base. Serving my country and caring for my daughter at the same time proved difficult, so I had to leave the Air Force. Decades later, it’s a challenge millions of parents still face. Later, as a business leader, I helped to establish a comprehensive paid family and medical leave program for my employees.

That's why, since coming to Congress, I have made paid family and medical leave a priority. I led the effort to guarantee paid parental leave for federal workers, a necessary step toward our ultimate goal: a paid family and medical leave program woven into the foundation of our nation’s infrastructure.
This is an investment in working families and in our economic growth. And right now, we have the responsibility to seize on this transformative opportunity and build a better future for all workers.
|
But my opponent and his allies are doing everything they can to block our mission of progress. And with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy confirming our district is a top target in this year's midterm elections, we need to get our positive message of "Dreams" in front of voters.
|
Please, John: Will you donate $5 today to help us keep Dreams on the air and keep this seat blue in November?
|
Thank you. This simply is not possible without you.
There's work to be done.
Chrissy
