This week, the January 6th select Committee held its final hearing. As I
watched, I was horrified by the newly-released footage from the day's
events. And I was reminded of Donald Trump’s authoritarian attempt to hold
onto power despite losing the election.
And how did my opponent Rand Paul respond to Trump’s Big Lie? He spread
it. And when a bipartisan group of Senators voted to impeach Trump, Paul
refused.
When the Jan. 6 Committee was formed a few months later, Rand Paul wanted
no hearings or accountability. He doesn’t support the Committee’s work.
Rand Paul does not believe in democracy. So he must be removed from
office. I’m running for Senate to hold him accountable at the ballot box.
