Over the last week, we have highlighted the critical differences in this race between my opponent and me.
I am fighting to protect women and their reproductive rights and to prevent gun violence, with support from pro-choice organizations like Planned Parenthood and gun safety leaders like Moms Demand Action. My opponent is pro-Dobbs and is endorsed by the NRA.
Ballots are dropping next week, and we are in a very tight race. We cannot assume that our campaign based on substance beats one based on deceptive attacks. In the face of these attacks, we must be vigilant and hold onto hope that we will get through this dark time. My commitment to holding on to hope—and not running a fear based campaign—is a critical reason why the Durango Herald issued a powerful endorsement for my re-election. That was also the core theme of my remarks at the march last Saturday about the importance of defending abortion rights (see them on Facebook Live here).
Please join me in leaving it all on the field, taking time to make sure you, your friends, and your family vote, volunteering with our campaign to get out the vote, putting a sign in your yard, and donating whatever you can for our final push.
