From a finance perspective, here's what you need to know about this attack ad. It's backed by the Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), a major GOP super PAC. Because it’s a super PAC, the CLF can raise unlimited sums AND spend unlimited sums airing attacks on Summer.
It's the same playbook our opponents used in the primary when AIPAC-affiliated super PACs spent more than $3 million attacking Summer. They even sent mailers across the district trying to spread lies and convince voters that Summer isn't a Democrat! It's dishonest and harmful.
