Team,
I’ve always believed that diversity is what makes California stronger.
That’s why as this Latino Heritage Month comes to a close, I’m proud to celebrate the vibrant culture and trailblazing spirit of the Latino community in our state and around the country.
I got to grow up with some of the most incredible Latino leaders in California. Seeing their collaborative spirit is what inspired me to run for Attorney General and fight to make our community a better place to live.
Everything that makes us great, the Latino community has helped us create. Help us celebrate Latino Heritage Month by sharing with your friends to honor their contributions to our state and country.
Latinos have been, and will continue to, change the world. We’ve seen that time and time again in California, including in the movements led by farm workers over the past decades – which last week saw a major victory when Governor Gavin Newsom signed a landmark bill to protect their right to vote to form a union.
Join me in celebrating the rich history and contributions of the Latino doctors, nurses, business owners, farm workers, educators, and more that have made our state and nation stronger.
