Tina for Oregon

John,

I wanted to take a minute to explain why these fundraising deadlines matter so much, and then ask you to pitch in before our mid-month deadline expires at midnight tonight.

Our finance team uses deadlines like these to determine the exact amount of money we need to raise in order to keep our campaign running smoothly.

With just days before ballots will show up in mailboxes across Oregon, those deadlines are more important than ever.

We’re running TV ads and digital ads to reach voters in every corner of the state, and that can get expensive. We’re scaling up our grassroots organizing, so volunteers can talk to as many voters as possible and make sure they’ve got a plan to mail in or drop off their ballots.

All of this takes resources to compete with our two conservative opponents. If we don’t hit our goals, we’ll have to scale back or slow down. At this point, with so much on the line this election — and with Republicans flooding the state with millions of dollars to attack Tina — that’s not an option I want to even consider.

So please, if you can, chip in ahead of tonight’s midnight deadline. We’re proudly funded by everyday Oregonians chipping in what they can, because we know that grassroots fundraising is critically important to running a winning campaign.

Thanks for all your help and hard work. Let’s do this!
