Team — I don’t want to take up too much of your time, especially while you’re hopefully enjoying your holiday break, so I’ll be quick.

At the end of every quarter, elected officials like me have to report their fundraising details to the FEC and make all of our numbers public.

That’s important because everyone from Donald Trump to Mitch McConnell will see how much money we’ve raised and how many folks have pitched in.

That’s why these deadlines are so important. But I’ll be honest, I haven’t had a whole lot of time to keep up with our fundraising. Looking at these numbers right now, it’s clear we’re still a smidgen behind on our goal for the year and quarter.
