I wanted to personally reach out to thank you for being a part of our Squad, and for supporting the work to advance justice and equity for our communities.
Over the last four years, in the face of tremendous adversity, our movement has built new tables, uplifted the voices of those who went unheard for too long, and answered generations of cruel, discriminatory policies with policies that legislate healing, equity, and justice for all.
Together, we have delivered millions in federal funds for our communities. We took on abusive, discriminatory banking practices to address the racial wealth gap. We organized to cancel student loan debt for millions of borrowers. And we continue to advocate and legislate to protect the most marginalized, push back against the criminalization of abortion care, and advance true healthcare justice.
And we are just getting started. I am running for re-election to continue to push for bold, progressive change.
But, I need your support today. The election is in less than a month and I’m facing an extreme, right-wing opponent. Early voting begins in one week and our team is hard at work to turn out voters across our district.
