We Still Need 13,000+ Stocking Pledges to Meet Our Goal! We have a big goal this year... we want to remind 40,000 deployed service members and veterans that we are thinking about them this holiday season and that we appreciate all they do or have done for us. To do that, we will ship/hand deliver stockings stuffed with holiday cheer. Late last month, we hit the halfway point for stocking pledges... but they have slowed down! Can you help by making a pledge today or spreading the word for others to get involved? Hundreds of Locations Participating in Treats for Troops The candy map is filling up with Treats for Troops candy collection sites! Register your location before 10/31 or check out the map to find a location where you can take your excess Halloween candy! Registration Now Open for Eligible Families and Those Interested in Adopting! The Soldiers' Angels Holiday Adopt-A-Family program is in full swing! As of October 8, registration was open for both interested families and interested volunteers. For eligible families: Let us help you and your family celebrate the season with gifts for the children and a grocery gift card. If you've already applied but not finished your paperwork, please finish ASAP so our volunteers have plenty of time to adopt and support your family! For volunteers: Please note that we will be adding families throughout the work week as soon as they are approved. Check the database often to see newly posted families. If you are choosing more than one family, it would be appreciated if you can spread out your selection of each family so we have enough families to go around to all interested volunteers. Highlight of Support: Veteran Food Distribution Volunteers September was Hunger Action Month and throughout the month, we shared stories about just a few of the thousands of Soldiers' Angels volunteers from across the country who are dedicated to ensuring our Veteran Food Distributions run smoothly.
