Right now, GOP Rep. Lloyd Smucker, who voted against certifying Joe Biden’s election on Jan. 6, is in our state to prop up Mike France. This shows just how important Mike France is to the MAGA right’s agenda.
The very fabric of the American middle class’s retirement security is on the line, John. Losing in eastern Connecticut could mean turning the House over to Lloyd Smucker, Kevin McCarthy, and other extremists who want to force a showdown next year over raising the federal debt limit to gut Social Security and Medicare.
