I have about 10 minutes of free time in my schedule today. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot of time, but with a schedule like mine, I can assure you I’m using it wisely.

And while I know our campaign sends a lot of emails, I want to take a few of these minutes to explain why your support today is so important to our success.

As you know, this year’s midterm elections are an opportunity to protect and expand our Democratic majority in the Senate, which will allow us to keep making progress on the issues that we all know are so important—like protecting key benefits for Veterans and military families, enshrining full reproductive rights into law and helping prevent gun violence in our communities.

And the stakes couldn’t be any higher. My opponent Kathy Salvi supports a total ban on abortion even in the case of rape, incest or to protect the life of the mother. She is also an ultra-wealthy self-funder who just dropped $100,000 on attack ads against me in the final weeks of this race..

So we are facing an uphill battle to protect our majority and Mitch McConnell knows that.

That’s why it’s important that we hit tonight’s $25,000 fundraising goal. We need the resources to set the record straight in these final weeks before the election. So, please:
