I want to keep it real with you, John:

The GOP’s top ultraconservatives have descended on New Mexico in recent weeks to support my opponent.

His bully brigade includes governors like Ron DeSantis and Glenn Youngkin – who treat their states like little kingdoms to fill their coffers and rely on culture war scare tactics to win votes – fundamentalists like former Trump VP Mike Pence, and convicted insurrectionists like Couy "the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat" Griffin.

We cannot afford to let these extremists distract the Land of Enchantment from what matters most this November with platforms built on exclusion, hatred, and fear. Please chip in now to help me keep their fearmongering out of New Mexico.

But that’s not all, John: The dark-money groups propping up these extremists are following right behind them, pouring MILLIONS into New Mexico to ensure my opponent gets all the name recognition he can ahead of next month.

Here's why: If my opponent and other extremist Republicans take charge, private interests will get the green light to tear apart what remains of our fragile democracy for their own short-term profit. And they'll do anything, including normalizing hatred in politics, to make sure of it.

New Mexico may be full of wide open vistas, but I firmly believe there is no room for hate in our state. But if we’re going to successfully drown out their rhetoric and keep their hatred off the airwaves and out of voters’ hearts, it will come down to resources. So please, John, can I count on your contribution to keep their cruel, extremist lies and politicians out of our state?
