John ~
You know that this year's midterm elections are one of the most important in decades. Who we elect will determine the future of everything from our climate and environment to voting rights, our democracy and so much more.
That's why making a plan to vote NOW is so critical to the future of our state.
Here's the good news: Maine makes it incredibly easy to vote before Election Day through its no-excuse absentee voting program. If you've already requested your absentee ballot like so many Mainers, great! When it arrives, make sure to fill it out, sign the back of the envelope, and send it in. If you have not yet requested a ballot and would like to vote early, you can pick up your absentee ballot in person at your town office and vote right there and then.
It's that easy! If you have any questions, either the Maine Secretary of State's Absentee Voting Guide or Vote411 should have an answer. If you still have questions, feel free to reach out to me directly.
With only a few weeks to go, we strongly suggest you send in your absentee ballot today (if you already have it), or visit your town office and vote early using an absentee ballot in person.
We need to make sure that everyone who cares as much as we do about protecting Maine’s environment and democracy turns out to vote in this important election year. So please make a plan to vote, whether it's absentee or at the polls on Tuesday, November 8th.
Thank you for being a Conservation Voter!
